This last week, the Making All Voices Count team has held events in 3 different african cities to officially open business. They launched in Accra, Johannesburg, and finally in Nairobi. PIP-Logo-Final-No-BG-resize Public Intelligence Project is is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit think tank conducting research, education, and advocacy on the importance of diversity, critical thinking, dialogue, and freedom of expression. It seeks to foster a robust culture of participatory democracy, develop empowered citizens, encourage constructive civic engagement, and promote an environment of dialogue and conflict prevention by helping safeguarding the free expression of ideas, dissent, and opinions. Ushahidi Core

With the Ushahidi Version 3 developer release slated for 30th October, 2013, the team is hard at work to finish up on the POSTS CRUD functionality, as well as implementing Media end points for the v3 API. The QA team continues to rigorously test and provide feedback to the team.

Ping

We recently open sourced our quick hack in response to the westgate attacks, dubbed Ping. We've also put up some extensive documentation on our wiki. Install the app and play around with it. For those of you interested in getting you hands dirty i.e Developers, Designers : Jump into the code! :)
